Draft for review. This policy uses standard website policy language and is provided as a practical starting point. It should be reviewed by legal counsel before launch and adjusted to match actual data practices.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how BiggerBite handles information in connection with our public website and the relationship-operations platform we use to run gatherings for our clients. It applies to visitors to our website and to guests who interact with invitation, RSVP, and survey pages we operate.

Information we collect

BiggerBite may collect information submitted through website forms, event inquiries, RSVP pages, surveys, and related event workflows. The categories below describe how that information typically reaches us.

Information you provide through forms

When you contact us or submit a planning inquiry, we collect what you choose to enter, such as your name, organization, role, email address, phone number if provided, and details about your goals, audience, and timing.

Event, RSVP, and survey information

When we operate a gathering for a client, we process invitation and response details, such as guest name and email address, RSVP status, party size, dietary or accessibility notes, check-in and attendance records, follow-up notes, and survey responses. Surveys may be configured as anonymous, in which case responses are not linked to an individual guest record.

Automatically collected information

Our website and hosted pages may automatically receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, referring pages, pages viewed, and timestamps. We may also record aggregate page-view counts for invitation and landing pages.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, operate gatherings on behalf of our clients, send invitations, reminders, and confirmations, record responses and attendance, produce reports and relationship summaries, support follow-up activity, maintain the security and reliability of our systems, and improve our website and services.

How we share information

We share information with the client on whose behalf a gathering is operated, with service providers who support our operations, and where required by law or to protect legal rights. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

We rely on third-party providers for website hosting, database and application infrastructure, and transactional email delivery. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us and are expected to maintain appropriate safeguards.

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies and similar storage to keep signed-in users authenticated and to keep guest-facing pages working correctly. Where enabled, optional analytics and functional cookies help us understand how our public pages perform. See our Cookie Policy for details and to manage your choices.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to operate a client program, produce reporting, support follow-up, resolve disputes, and meet record-keeping obligations. Retention periods may vary by category and by client agreement.

Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information, including role-based access controls and access scoped to a client account or an individual gathering. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can decline to provide information requested in a form, unsubscribe from non-essential messages using the link in an email or by contacting us, and adjust optional cookie categories at any time. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you. Where a client controls the underlying records, we may refer the request to that client.

Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date shown above. Material changes may be communicated through our website.
