This Cookie Policy explains how BiggerBite LLC (“BiggerBite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the BiggerBite website and on invitation, RSVP, registration, check-in, survey, landing, and other pages operated through our Services.

This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are

Cookies are small files stored on a browser or device when a website is used.

We may also use similar technologies, including local storage, session storage, authentication tokens, pixels or similar measurement technologies, and other browser-based storage or identifiers.

For simplicity, this Cookie Policy refers to these technologies collectively as “cookies.”

Some communications sent through BiggerBite may also use email-specific measurement technologies, such as tracking pixels or tracked links, to generate delivery or engagement information. These technologies operate in the email or communication context and are described in our Privacy Policy. They are separate from the website cookie preferences controlled through BiggerBite’s Cookie Settings interface unless we expressly state otherwise.

Changing website cookie preferences does not, by itself, disable email-delivery or email-engagement measurement associated with communications sent through the Services.

2. How We Use Cookies

We seek to keep our use of cookies limited to technologies reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and understand our Services.

Some cookies are essential for the Services to function and cannot be disabled through our cookie-preference controls.

Other cookies, where used, are optional and are controlled through the choices available in our Cookie Preferences interface.

3. Essential Cookies

Essential cookies and similar storage are necessary to operate and secure BiggerBite’s Services.

They may be used to:

authenticate signed-in users;

maintain secure sessions;

protect against unauthorized access;

maintain basic application functionality;

operate invitation and landing pages;

process RSVP and registration pages;

support check-in functionality;

operate surveys;

remember cookie-consent choices;

prevent duplicate or erroneous application activity; and

maintain the security and reliability of the Services.

Essential cookies cannot be disabled through our Cookie Preferences interface because portions of the Services may not function correctly without them.

Users may be able to block these technologies through browser settings, but doing so may prevent sign-in or cause invitation, RSVP, survey, or other pages to function incorrectly.

Opening a personal invitation or survey link records that the link was opened on our servers, tied to that invitation. This operational record does not place a cookie or browser identifier on your device.

4. Analytics Cookies

Where enabled, analytics cookies or similar technologies may help us understand how our public website, invitation pages, landing pages, RSVP pages, and other Services are used.

Analytics may include information such as page views, referring pages, general interaction with pages, device or browser information, approximate geographic information derived from an IP address, application performance, and error information.

We use analytics information to understand performance, troubleshoot problems, improve our Services, and evaluate how pages are being used.

Analytics cookies are optional and will not be enabled through our cookie-preference system unless you choose to allow them, where consent is required.

If you allow analytics, we store a random first-party visitor identifier in your browser's local storage and a session identifier in session storage so repeat page loads are not double-counted and hosts can see total views versus approximate unique visitors. If you decline, neither identifier is created and public page views are not recorded. You can change this choice at any time through Cookie Settings.

We do not use analytics information to create unrelated third-party advertising profiles.

5. Functional Cookies

BiggerBite does not currently use optional functional cookies, and no Functional category appears in our Cookie Preferences interface.

Where a stored preference is required to deliver a feature you have requested — such as remembering your cookie choices or your signed-in interface settings — that storage is treated as essential and described in Section 3.

If we later introduce optional functional technologies, we will update this Cookie Policy and our preference controls.

6. Advertising and Marketing Cookies

BiggerBite does not currently use advertising, behavioral-targeting, or cross-site marketing cookies through its Services.

We do not currently use cookies to build advertising profiles from RSVP information, guest lists, survey responses, attendance information, or Client relationship information.

If BiggerBite begins using advertising or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and our cookie-preference controls before using those technologies where required.

7. Email Technologies

Cookies used on websites are different from technologies that may be used in connection with email delivery.

As described in our Privacy Policy, our email systems and service providers may process information such as delivery status, bounce information, timestamps, unsubscribe status, and, where enabled and legally permissible, limited information concerning interaction with an email or link.

These technologies are used for email delivery, invitation operations, communications administration, and related reporting and are not controlled by the website cookie settings in all cases.

8. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You may review or change your optional cookie choices at any time through the Cookie Settings link available on our website and on applicable BiggerBite-hosted public or guest-facing pages.

You may accept all optional cookies, reject all nonessential cookies, or set each optional category individually. Analytics is currently the only optional category we offer.

Changing your preferences will apply prospectively. Technologies already stored on your device may need to be removed through your browser settings in some circumstances.

You can also use your browser settings to delete or block cookies.

Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Services from functioning correctly.

9. Global Privacy Signals

Some browsers or extensions provide privacy preference signals, including Global Privacy Control.

Where applicable law requires BiggerBite to recognize a legally valid browser-based opt-out preference signal, we will do so for processing to which that signal applies.

Because BiggerBite does not currently sell personal information for monetary consideration or use guest information for third-party behavioral advertising, such signals may have limited applicability to our current Services.

10. Third-Party Services

Some cookies or similar technologies may be provided by third-party service providers that support BiggerBite’s Services.

These may include providers of hosting, authentication, application infrastructure, analytics, security, monitoring, or other technology services.

Where a third-party technology is optional, its use is subject to the applicable cookie preferences and legal requirements.

Third-party providers may also have their own privacy practices.

11. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use, our Services, our privacy practices, or applicable legal requirements.

When we update this Cookie Policy, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above.

Where appropriate or legally required, we may request a new cookie preference after a material change.
